Cerbos newsletter January 2025

We hope youโ€™ve all had a great start to the new year, Cerbos community! Since our last update, we have published a demo on how to build an authorization system for RAG applications with LangChain, Chroma DB and Cerbos, and we have written a piece on how we have leveraged CRDTs for our collaborative playground. We also wanted to highlight the article Michael Westergaard wrote at the end of 2024 on integrating Cerbos with Spring Security and Spring Data JPA.

Beyond technical deep-dives, we've explored broader perspectives on authorization. We examined dynamic authorization and its importance and benefits, and Alex Olivier spoke about moving from hardcoded to externalized authorization on the DevOps Paradox podcast.

In other news, Cerbos has been named among UK's most ground-breaking new businesses!
