March marks an exciting milestone: Cerbos turned 5! 🎉 Thank you for being part of our journey as we continue building the future of authorization together.
Over the past month, we have been focused on expanding integration capabilities and addressing critical authorization challenges facing financial services and enterprise security leaders.
Join us for our upcoming Zero Trust webinar on March 18: 💻"Your security stack has holes. Do you know where they are?" Learn how to apply aviation's Swiss Cheese Model to stress-test your Zero Trust layers and identify gaps before they become breaches.
We released new integration adapters to help teams implement authorization effectively. These include query plan adapters for LangChain.js and ChromaDB, Drizzle ORM, Elasticsearch Java, and Azure API Management. We also launched our agentic e-commerce use case, demonstrating how to secure AI-driven commerce workflows with fine-grained authorization.
For security and business leaders, we published critical insights on authorization challenges in regulated industries. In the realm of financial services, we explored how AI is turning weak permission management into systemic banking risk, and outlined the four pillars of access control in banking.
In case you missed it: on-premise Cerbos Hub was released last month. Organizations can now run Cerbos Hub inside their own environment while continuing to manage authorization centrally across apps, services, workloads, and non-human identities. Cerbos Hub now supports all deployment options:
Your Zero Trust architecture probably has a hole in it. That's fine - every layer of defense has holes. The problem is when nobody's checked whether those holes align.
Aviation figured this out decades ago. The Swiss Cheese Model gave them a framework for understanding how layered defenses actually behave under pressure, not just in theory. It's how they built the safest complex system in history. Most security stacks haven't applied the same rigor.
In this free webinar on March 18th, Alex Olivier will map that framework onto the 6 layers of Zero Trust runtime security and give you a practical way to stress-test your own stack (before a breach does it for you).
Can’t join live? No problem - register to get the recording post-webinar.
